My first post. :)

Well Im starting to use many of the social sites my friend use. I hope this will help spread the word about my jewelry and Endometrosis. I just joined flickr. And not to long ago i joined Facebook. With this blog i will tell about updated, endo info, jewelry info, and just little tid bits that i can think of. Also i am going to list all my links, if i get new links i will post them in new blogs along with the older links. So thank you for your support. I hope i can truly make a difference in the world about endo, maybe one day we can find the cause and a cure. Now i will start off will a little info on the endo jewelry that is called Our Silver Lining. Links are at the bottom.

So far,$65 has been donated to the ERC. OSL's goal right now is to donate $100.

Our Silver Lining is jewelry for Endometriosis awareness. Percentages of the profits will be donated to the Endometriosis Research Center (ERC @ www.EndoCenter.org), OSL is listed on the ERC's home page under the news section.5.5 Million women in the US have Endometriosis, but that does not count women who dont know they have it.
What is endometriosis?
Endometriosis occurs when endometrial tissue, the tissue that lines the uterus and is shed during menstruation, grows outside of the uterus on the ovaries, fallopian tubes, ligaments supporting the uterus, and other areas in the pelvic cavity. Endometriosis can also appear in a woman's bladder, bowel, vagina, or other places in her body. Endometriosis is the third leading cause of infertility in women of all ages. This disease is also VERY painful. Women with endometriosis suffer through surgeries, treatments that dont help, and even lose jobs, friends, and family since some times with the pain, surgeries and so on it will cause the women to be disabled from many normal every day things.
